Step-by-step
- Press the Home button on your remote and open the app store (Apps on Samsung, LG Content Store on LG).
- Search for your player app and install it.
- Open the app. Some players show a device ID or MAC address and ask you to activate the TV on the app’s own website; follow the on-screen instructions if so.
- Add your login details in the app (or on the app’s website, if it uses web activation).
- Restart the app so the channel list loads.
Some player apps charge their own one-off or yearly fee. That fee is paid to the app developer, separately from your subscription.
